Wondering how to capture the experience an Impact workshop offers left us with the peculiar challenge of how we put into words an event that can positively affect you, while potentially challenging and changing the way your team think, feel and behave.

Set on a 2000 hectare farm, your team will have the remarkable opportunity to work with The Herd of Shabula Lodge.  This gregarious mix of wild and tame horses provide an engaging and enlightening stage for some “out of the ordinary” activities.

The world we live in is one of constant relationship. Your ability to work, play and thrive as individuals, teams and organisations (your success both personally and professionally) is dependent on your ability to establish worthwhile relationships. The Horses become the mirrors to these relationships and in working with them they offer an unusual perspective on this familiar yet critical aspect of life.

Through an acute awareness of their environment they provide valuable information on how you impact those around you.   They sense and respond to emotions even before you’re aware of them, they pick up the slightest changes in body language, mood or movement and they give immediate feedback.  We make the most of this opportunity and discuss the horse’s reactions and behaviour and reflect on the insights they offer.

Through a series of activities you will learn about yourself and your colleagues as you are tested, stretched and entertained by your wise and witty teaches, the Horses.
